Sudoku Tiles is a sliding tile puzzle game for iOS. Solve 25 handcrafted 4×4 Sudoku puzzles by sliding numbered tiles into the correct positions before time runs out.

How to Play

Objective: Fill the 4×4 grid so that each row, column, and 2×2 quadrant contains the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 exactly once.

Controls:

• Tap a tile to select it
• Tap an empty space to slide the selected tile there — tiles slide in straight lines until they hit an obstacle or boundary
• Double-tap a tile to pin it and lock it in place
• Submit your solution when you think you've solved the puzzle
• Restart if you get stuck or want to try for a better time

Tips:

• Fixed tiles (shown in brass) cannot be moved
• Use pinning to lock tiles you're confident about
• Watch the timer — each level has a time limit
• Try to beat your best time on each level

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I unlock new levels?

Complete each level to unlock the next one. All 25 levels must be completed in order.

Can I replay completed levels?

Yes. You can replay any completed level from the Ledger screen to improve your best time.

Where is my progress saved?

Your game progress — best times and completed levels — is saved locally on your device. It will persist even if you close the app, but will be deleted if you uninstall the app.

Does this app require an internet connection?

No. Sudoku Tiles works completely offline and does not require any internet connection.

Why can't I move a tile?

• The tile might be a fixed tile — these cannot be moved
• The tile might be pinned — double-tap it to unpin
• The path to the destination might be blocked by another tile
• Tiles only move horizontally or vertically, not diagonally

How do I reset my progress?

Delete and reinstall the app. All progress is stored locally on your device.

The app won't launch or is crashing

1. Force quit the app and relaunch it
2. Restart your device
3. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
4. If issues persist, contact support below
